About the author and book:
Tanja Britton resides in Colorado Springs with her husband. Her interest in nature and regional history inspired her to write Places & People of the Pikes Peak Region, a collection of fourteen separate yet interconnected essays.
Each essay examines a natural or manmade landmark, the person for whom it is named, and the relevant historical context. Every chapter includes historic and/or present-day photographs and the book’s narrative is complemented by a bibliography, chronology, appendices, and index.
This is the author’s first book, but she has been blogging since 2016 at tanjabrittonwriter.com.
